There's a reason he'd selected soup and it doesn't take more than a few minutes to heat it before he pours it into a bowl before bringing it over to the table with a spoon before setting it down in front of him.

"Eat."

He leaves the pot warming on the stove before pouring them both tea from the steaming pot he'd left on the warmer bringing them back to the table and settled to sit beside him.

"After you finish, you can bathe. I have your clothes from before in the guest closet."
